Την Τρίτη, 21 Φεβρουαρίου, εκλεκτός καλεσμένος στην εκπομπή του Mount Sinai με την Φαίη Κοζά ήταν ο παγκοσμίως διακεκριμένος αγγειοχειρουργός Dr. Paul S. Lajos. 
Ο γιατρός αρχικά επικεντρώθηκε στο ανεύρύσμα της κοιλιακής αορτής, πάθηση που μπορεί να αποδειχθεί μοιραία όταν προκύψει ρήξη.  Το τσιγάρο είναι κύριος παράγοντας.  Ο γιατρός

On Tuesday, February 21, Dr. Paul S. Lajos, a highly distinguished vascular surgeon, was the guest on the Mount Sinai Medical Show, hosted by FayKozas.
The doctor initially spoke about abdominal aortic aneurysms, and explained that should an aneurysm rupture, it can prove fatal.  Smoking is one of the major risk factors.  The doctor
stressed the importance of recognizing the symptoms, as an early diagnosis can make a difference.  In the second part of the medical show, Dr. Lajos spoke about deep vein thrombosis and
emphasized that it can be life-threatening when a piece of the blood clot breaks off.  In closing, the doctor discussed the major advancements and innovations regarding treatments and gave
the worldwide audience advice for a better quality of life.

Dr. Lajos is Associate Chief of Vascular Surgery at Mount Sinai Queens.
The doctor is Assistant Professor of Surgery and Radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
