Την Τρίτη, 11 Δεκεμβρίου, εκλεκτή καλεσμένη στην εκπομπή του Νοσοκομείου Mount Sinai με την Φαίη Κοζά ήταν η παγκοσμίως διακεκριμένη γιατρός 
Dr. Stephanie Bernik.  Η εκπομπή ήταν αφιερωμένη στις γυναίκες αφού το θέμα στο οποίο επικεντρώθηκε η γιατρός ήταν ο καρκίνος του μαστού.  Η 
γιατρός ανέφερε τους παράγοντες που προδιαθέτουν την γυναίκα, οπως τα γονίδια BRCA1 και BRCA2.  Η Dr. Bernik ενημέρωσε τους ακροατές για τις 
καινούργιες εξελίξεις και τις καινοτομίες στον χώρο της επανορθωτικής χειρουργικής, συγκεκριμένα η επέμβαση BIOZORB που δίνει στον καινούργιο μαστό 
το τέλειο σχήμα.  Κλείνοντας, η Dr. Bernik έδοσε στους ακροατές συμβουλές για μιά καλύτερη ποιότητα ζωής.

Η Dr. Bernik είναι Διευθύντρια Χειρουργικής Μαστού στο Νοσοκομείο Mount Sinai Roosevelt και Ανώτερη Καθηγήτρια Χειρουργικής στην 
Ιατρική Σχολή Άϊκαν του Νοσοκομείου Mount Sinai.  

On Tuesday, December 11, Dr. Stephanie Bernik was the distinguished guest on the Mount Sinai Medical Show hosted by Fay Kozas.
The doctor spoke about breast cancer, a diagnosis that conjures up immense fear and uncertainty in women.  The doctor mentioned the risk 
factors that predispose a woman to breast cancer, among them the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes.  In the course of the medical show, Dr. Bernik 
informed the worldwide audience about the advancements and innovations in breast reconstructive surgery, such as BIOZORB which is used for 
breast conservation and which gives the breast more volume.  In closing, Dr. Bernik gave the audience advice for a better quality of life.  

Dr. Bernik is Chief of Breast Surgery at Mount Sinai Roosevelt.  The doctor is Senior Faculty, Surgery, at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
