Την Τρίτη, 12 Μαρτίου, οι παγκοσμίως διακεκριμένες ωτολόγοι Dr. Randi Tepper και Dr. Katherine Scigliano ήταν καλεσμένες στην ιατρική εκπομπή του Νοσοκομείου Mount Sinai με την Φαίη Κοζά.  Η Dr. Tepper και η Dr. Scigliano είναι εξειδικευμένες στην απώλεια ακοής σε παιδιά και ενήλικους.  Κατά την διάρκεια της ιατρικής εκπομπής, οι γιατροί ενημέρωσαν τους ακροατές για το Ινστιτούτο Ώτων που παρέχει διάφορες παρεμβάσεις για την έγκαιρη διάγνωση και την αντιμετώπιση απώλειας ακοής ειδικά στα βρέφη και στα παιδιά, όπως μία πρόσβαση οικογενειακή, εξειδικευμένες θεραπείες, και μικρά γκρουπ που αποτελούνται από γονείς και παιδιά, δίνοντας στους γονείς τα απαιτούμενα εφόδια για να βοηθήσουν το παιδί τους.

On Tuesday, March 12, Dr. Randi Tepper and Dr. Katherine Scigliano, both audiologists, were the highly distinguished guests on the Mount Sinai Medical Show hosted by Fay Kozas.
Dr. Tepper and Dr. Scigliano specialize in hearing loss in children and adults.  During the course of the medical show, Dr. Tepper and Dr. Scigliano informed the worldwide audience about The Ear Institute, one of the few centers that offers early intervention to infants and toddlers with hearing loss.  The doctors use a family-centered approach, individual therapies, and small parent/child groups, all of which give the parents the necessary tools to help their child.
