On Tuesday, July 16, Dr. Rachel Colman was the distinguished guest on the Mount Sinai Medical Show hosted by Fay Kozas.
The doctor spoke about one of the most common problems many people complain about--headaches.  Initially, the doctor
referred to the causes, which include stress or anxiety, loud noises or even strong overhead lights.  It is significant to note that
the doctor also mentioned caffeine as a cause and referred to it as a "two-edged sword", since caffeine can cause headaches when
consumed for long periods of time, yet it can also cause headaches when a person abruptly stops drinking coffee.  Dr. Colman also
spoke about migraines, a neurological disorder.  In closing, Dr. Colman gave the worldwide audience advice for a better quality of life.

Dr. Colman is Director of the Low-Pressure Headache Program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and
Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
