On Tuesday, August 3, 2021, Dr. Adam Korayem was the distinguished guest on the Mount Sinai Medical Show hosted by Fay Kozas.
Dr. Korayem spoke about the link between vascular diseases, such as heart attack, stroke, and peripheral vascular disease, as they all share a similar
cause, atherosclerosis. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle will help to control high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol.
In closing, Dr. Korayem also informed the worldwide audience about the breakthroughs and advancements in surgical interventions.
Dr. Korayem is Assistant Professor of Surgery, Vascular Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and
Assistant Professor of Diagnostic, Molecular, and Interventional Radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
