The doctor focused on the liver and spoke about "fatty liver disease", a disease that can potentially become dangerous as it causes liver inflammation.
At a later stage, it can cause cirrhosis and liver failure. Dr. Schiano mentioned the risk factors and stressed the importance of an early diagnosis.
