Την Τρίτη, 1η Νοεμβρίου, καλεσμένοι στον HELLAS FM στην εκπομπή του νοσοκομείου Mount Sinai με την Φαίη Κοζά ήταν η Leanne Goldberg και ο Dr. Benjamin Tweel.
Αρχικά, η Leanne, η οποία είναι εξειδικευμένη στις δυσλειτουργίες κατάποσης και φωνής και του χρόνιου βήχα, επικεντρώθηκε στην δυσκολία κατάποσης.

On Tuesday, November 1st, HELLAS FM featured Ms. Leanne Goldberg and Dr. Benjamin Tweel on the Mount Sinai Medical Show hosted by Fay Kozas.
Leanne, who is a speech and language pathologist at Mount Sinai, with a specialty in treating voice and swallowing disorders and chronic cough, spoke about swallowing difficulties.
She explained the most common causes and informed the listeners about the treatment options, such as diet modifications and special exercises to strengthen the swallowing muscles.
Dr. Benjamin Tweel spoke about nasal sinus conditions, such as sinusitis and nasal polyps, and explained how these conditions can make breathing difficult. The doctor also discussed
the risk factors and informed our audience about the medical and surgical treatments available. In closing, Dr. Tweel gave the listeners words of advice for a better quality of life.
Dr. Tweel is Assistant Professor, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
