Την Τρίτη, 23 Οκτωβρίου, εκλεκτός καλεσμένος στην εκπομπή του νοσοκομείου Mount Sinai με την Φαίη Κοζά ήταν ο παγκοσμίως
διακεκριμένος γιατρός Dr. Ganesh Gunasekaran.  Ο γιατρός αναφέρθηκε στον καρκίνο του ήπατος και του παγκρέατος, δύο από
τους πιο θανατηφόρους καρκίνους, αφού τα συμπτώματα παρουσιάζονται σε προχωρημένη φάση του καρκίνου.  Στην συνέχεια της 
ιατρικής εκπομπής, ο γιατρός ανέφερε πως πρόσφατα κυκλοφόρισε το φάρμακο NIVOLUMAB που υπόσχεται πολλά για τον καρκίνο 
του ήπατος, δίνοντας ελπίδες στους ακροατές.  Κλείνοντας, ο Dr. Gunasekaran έδοσε συμβουλές για μιά καλύτερη ποιότητα ζωής.

Ο Dr. Gunasekaran είναι Χειρούργος Μεταμόσχευσης Ηπατοχολαγγείου στην Ιατρική Σχολή Άϊκαν του νοσοκομείου Mount Sinai.

On Tuesday, October 23, Dr. Ganesh Gunasekaran was the distinguished guest on the Mount Sinai Medical Show hosted by Fay Kozas.
The doctor spoke about cancer of the liver and the pancreas, two of the deadliest cancers, specifically because when the symptoms do
appear, the cancer is in an advanced stage.  In the course of the medical show, the doctor informed the worldwide audience about the 
promising new drug NIVOLUMAB, which is already being used for some liver cancers that cannot be removed surgically.  In closing,
Dr. Gunasekaran gave the audience advice for a better quality of life.

Dr. Gunasekaran is a Transplant Hepatobiliary Surgeon at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
